About Jazz Canvas: Jazz Canvas – a fusion of arts, is a two-hour performance combining the work of musicians and a painter who begins and ends a work of art in response to the music. Each performance features a guest musician and is unique, unrehearsed and spontaneous – in the best of jazz traditions. At the end of each evening, the painting is raffled off to a lucky winner.

Susan Pascal's tribute to Latin jazz legend Cal Tjader heads to Bellevue for a concert at the Eastside Jazz Club. The Quintet, led by Susan Pascal on vibes, with Fred Hoadley, piano, Chuck Deardorf, bass, Mark Ivester, drums and Tom Bergersen, percussion, perform arrangements from the immense recorded output of Cal Tjader.
